A femshep.com fan fiction contest

PROMPT: Commander Shepard has been relieved of duty by the Alliance for war crimes. Disgraced and cut off from the rest of the galaxy, Shepard must wait for the inevitable while politicians and bureaucrats stall for time. During this time one special team mate will play an important role in Shepard's life.

From the end of Arrival DLC to the beginning of ME3 there is a six month gap in the life of Commander Shepard.  Tell the story of how your own Shepard lived and dealt with the ramifications of her (or his) past actions and her (or his) incarceration.  Your fic must include Shepard (female or male) at least one squadmate (from any of the three games) and it must be set at some point during Shepard’s detention. Please stick to the Mass Effect lore, but other than that, anything else goes, be it adventure, romance, courtroom drama, comedy or tragedy. (Yes, you may do non-canonical pairings w/ LIs).  Mass Effect, Commander Shepard and all her friends are property of BioWare and EA.

DEADLINE: Monday, July 23rd, 2012

Finally, your fic may not contain any excessive acts of sexual or violent behavior. M Rating for fiction (http://www.fictionratings.com/).

JUDGING: Entries will be judged by members of femshep.com by clicking on the “like” button next to each abstract.  Sorry, ratings and favorites will not be counted. 

PRIZES: All prizes will be awared in the form of BW gift certificates from the BW store.
               First Prize is a $50.00 Gift Certificate for BW store.
