Abandoned by red sand addicted parents as a baby in upstate New York, she was raised by an uncle in the big city and later taken in as a young teen by members of the Tenth Street Reds. The life of crime never suited her but she did what she needed to do to survive. She joined the Alliance as soon as they would have her, both to escape and seek redemption for her past.
