This is my entry for the Incarceration contest and my very first foray into fan fiction.  It takes place immediately after Arrival and then a few weeks after Shepard being grounded on earth.  The reason I wanted part of it to be right after Arrival, is that I felt the wieght of that decision and the resulting deaths and how they effect Shepard is never really touched on. It is told from the point of view of both an LI and Shepard.  5000 words was not enough, i had to cut and re-edit and cut some more. My femshep is paragon through and through.

Because this is my first ever writing experiance, I very much welcome any constructive critism, comments or suggestions.  Hope you enjoy.
