Summary: Samara finds out that there is another Ardat Yakshi on the loose, killing of seemingly random mercenaries and people. The only lead that they have to the asari's identification and location is a woman they rescued from a planet that was being attacked by Blue Suns and Eclipse because they thought the Ardat Yakshi was there. 

I should say immediately that this is not my story though I've been helping the author with it for a couple of months. She gave me permission to post the link here (she likes Femshep.com but doesn't want to join because she's really bad with technology and forum posting). It's a long fic, currently with a wordcount of 150k+ and growing. At first, I thought it was a 'self insertion' but as it turned out, this woman had managed to create one of the most original characters and stories that I've read in a long time. She writes for a Femshep/Samara (with a hint of Femshep/Liara) fandom. Her characters are real for lack of a better way of putting it. The story isn't only about her original character (Abby) but also about  the interactions of the crew with each other after they returned from the Omega-4-Relay. I haven't caught her to write her characters 'out of character' once. This story is such a pleasure to read and I thought (and really wanted) to share it here.
