Intro stuff
This is for my cannon version of my femShep, featured in my personal fiction. There are slight variations with the TSP version of this character. (TSP is the AU story of three femSheps that was spawned off a silly comment one summer afternoon.)
Name: Alexis A. Shepard
Background: Spacer / War Hero
Alignment: Paragon
class: Vanguard
Favorite Combat Ability or Abilities: ME1: Throw, Lift, Shotgun; ME2: Charge, Shotgun, Assault Rifle
Decisions, decisions, decisions....
ME1 Council: Lived. The needs of the galaxy as a whole needed to be considered, and she cannot justify sacrificing the “leaders” of the galaxy in hopes of destroying Sovereign.
The Rachni: Saved. Alexis believes that any group of people deserve a second chance, and she believed the Rachni Queen when she said that she would do her people better this time.
What happened on Feros?: Colonists were saved. The Colony was saved. Shiala was spared and left to help the colony. Again, Alexis felt that the people, even Shiala, deserved another chance.
Virmire: Saved Kaidan. Her decision was based solely on the fact that he was at the primary mission objective, which was to nuke the hell out of the facility. She fell back to ensure the parameters of the mission would succeed.
Conrad Verner: Sent him home to his wife without threatening him.
Noveria: Assisted Parsini. Convinced Lorik to testify.
Bring Down the Sky: Saved the hostages.
Anderson or Udina: Anderson
ME2 and the Council: Reinstated as a Spectre.
The Collector Base: Alexis blew the base without hesitation. There was no way anyone could have convinced her to keep the base.
Suicide Mission casualties: 0
The Geth: Alexis struggled with this one. She was dead set against the idea of reprogramming the Geth, feeling it was no better than blatant mind control. However, upon further conversation with Legion about how the programming could be seen as a “glitch”, and how she had been willing to give the Rachni a second chance, she ultimately decided to reprogram them.
Tali: Kept the truth of her father’s experiments from the Admiralty Board. Even if Alexis did not agree with the quarian’s methods, there would be no good to come from dragging Tali’s father’s name through the mud.
Genophage cure data: Kept it.
Overlord: Turned it over to the Alliance without hesitation.
Kasumi: Let Kasumi keep the graybox. Alexis wasn’t about to deny the woman a chance to have something, even intangible, of the man she loved.
Personal stuff
Romance: Kaidan Alenko
Why Shepard and her LI are such a great match:
They started out mainly as friends (although it would be a lie to state she didn’t find him attractive from the start). Alexis found on the cruise on the Normandy that she didn’t quite have anyone to confide in on a level that she needed, and Kaidan, as a fellow officer, at least allowed her to do that. As time passed on during the hunt for Saren, they grew closer, and she saw him more and more as an equal. Plus, despite her Paragon nature, she can be somewhat hotheaded at times, and where she’d keep her cool around people, she did need to vent from time to time…

Personality:
Alexis comes off as rather cool and impersonal at most times. She’s very business and by-the-book, at least until you get past the Commander Shepard armor. Underneath, she’s a bit quirky and sentimental.
Three fun facts:
1) Before enlisting with the Alliance, she had received a scholarship offer to Julliard back on Earth, to pursue a career in music.
2) Her closest friend in the galaxy (outside of the ME people) is Chelsea Hackett, the niece to a certain Admiral. Chelsea is quite the party girl, and often drags Alexis to many clubs on what little shore leave Alexis gets. Normally insisting that Alexis borrow “proper” clothes….
3) Having grown up in space, the “land” of controlled ship climates, Alexis wants nothing more than to ultimately settle down on some planet, where there is wind, rain, snow, etc.
